COLARIS

Colaris is an instrumental band from Pirmasens/Germany. Founded in 2009/2010, the band has since released a full-length record („Renewal“ 2012), two Eps („The Disclosure“ 2011 and “Source” 2013), a split with Ampersphere (2013) and has played shows in Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands with bands like Tephra, Rosetta, Kerretta, Switchblade, Planks or Terraformer. Their second album „Nexus“ will see the light on 07/17/2015 and will be released on Revolvermann Records, Narshardaa Records and Wolves and Vibrancy Records.

The bands sound can be described as a blend of heavy, driving and melodious parts, as long as some intricate and also catchy passages. Comparisons to well known bands of the genre are up to the listener, all band members have various influences, which makes it hard to reduce it on some names.
